Summer Camp Staff

Our Camp Director, Program Director, Camp Commissioner, and other program area directors are all nationally certified by the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, all our program areas are under the supervision of a trained, full time adult staff member, and all staff undergo extensive training annually.

Camp Leadership Team

Scott Brady
Camp Director (see Picture)

Scott has been a staff member at Henderson Scout Reservation for 37 years. He has been Camp Director for 12 years and served 17 years as Program Director. Prior to that he held other critical positions at the camp.

Scott has been a Scouting Professional for 25 years and was Section Director of the BSA National Camp School from 1993 - 1994. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in his Troop in his home town of Schenevus, NY which sits in the shadow of the camp.

In his spare time he is a Christmas Tree Farmer, Chainsaw Carver, avid gardener, plays on 2 consecutive undefeated teams in the YMCA over 50 Basketball League

Tom Roy
Assistant Camp Director (see Picture)

Tom is a seasoned camp director with a vast experience in camp management and has been with the camp staff since 1979.

Jerry Palmater
Program Director (see Picture)

Jerry is a experienced and dynamic program director who has been with the camp for nine years. He is a retired teacher.
